Who can apply for CCED programmes?
Admission is open to candidates who meet the entry requirements of their chosen programme — typically five (5) O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics. Requirements vary by programme; see Admission for details.
What programmes does CCED offer?
CCED offers five pathways: Weekend Part-Time, Weekday Part-Time, Pre-Degree, JUPEB, and Certificate & Diploma programmes — all delivered under the OOU academic standard.
How do I apply?
Applications are submitted online through the admissions portal. Create an account, complete your biodata, choose your programme, upload your documents and pay the application fee. Follow the steps on the Admission page.
Can I study while working?
Yes. CCED was designed for working professionals. Part-time programmes offer weekday and weekend schedules so you can balance work, business or family with your studies.
Is the CCED certificate recognised?
All CCED programmes are accredited and awarded by Olabisi Onabanjo University, so your qualification carries the same academic recognition as any OOU degree, diploma or certificate.
What is JUPEB and how does it help?
JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) is an A-level pathway. Successful candidates gain direct entry into 200 level of OOU degree programmes.
What documents do I need to apply?
You will need your O'Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), a recent passport photograph, and a valid email address and phone number. Additional documents may be required depending on your programme.
How much are the fees?
Fees vary by programme and session. Please contact the Centre or check the admissions portal for the current fee schedule for your programme.
